The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day company accounts, financial controls and audits
- Assist with financial planning
- Timely reporting
- Oversee budget forecasting, cash flow and working capital management
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance in all areas
- Staff development
Qualifications, skills and attributes
- Professional accounting qualification – ACCA/CPA
- Undergraduate degree in a related field will be an added advantage
- Proficiency with financial software or ERP for hotel operations
- Understanding of IFRS
- Seven (7) years post qualification experience in a senior position of accounting or financial management
- responsibility in a hospitality organisation
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Must be responsible for managing a professional team of more than 5 members in your present role
